Rajasthan. Congress Jan Aadhar card will replace the existing Bhamashah card in the state from April 1, the scheme will get officially launched on December 18. Gehlot’s government has designed it in a way that will not only resemble some similarities with the previous card but will provide some unique benefits to the public.
Just like Bhamashah card, Jan Aadhar will also get registered in the name of a woman and the whole family members will be added to the card. Bhamashah card holders are not required to get Jan Aadhar as they will get new 10 digit registration number through SMS or call. Only the family’s with no bhamashah card are required to get new Jan Aadhar Card by providing two aadhar cards of family members.
Apart from unique number to the family, it will provide a separate 11-digit ID Number to each family member which will give access to all benefits for the lifetime. It will help in filling up e-TDS, availing life insurance and benefits of ration card. For the digitalization, Jan Aadhar’s mobile app will also be launched. It will help in getting new number digitally and download of e-card will be mandatory for everyone.
Jan Aadhar Card have some unique features to benefit the citizens as it will eliminate the compulsion of renewing living certificate for pensioner, each family members name will get automatically added and all e-commerce and life insurance benefits will be its add-on. Government will create one identity of a family with Jan Aadhar Card.
